      EBLY COLLECTION

Taken from Upper Egypt, Ebly collection offers a vibrant line with its design roots. The collection represented the farmers and the peasants that cultivated the Nile. Thus, came the name. Materials used are mostly simple, light materials such as beech wood. simulating the experience of the Nile river with the sugarcane and the wheat fields.

The Dekka

The Dekka is a two seat sofa, inspired from two main elements.

- The back of the Dekka is shaped like the sugarcane outline. It was selected representing Upper Egypt, due to the fact that the economy in Upper Egypt is heavily dependent on sugarcane production.

- The leg of the Dekka is an outline of a hookah (shisha) tube taken from the display image. Since hookah had become one of the main trade marks for Egypt.

The Tableya

Inspired from the old traditional low tables that are found in Cairo that were called "Tableyat" in Arabic.

The Tableya is a low coffee table that represents the modernised concept of the tableyat.

The 90cmx4cm Carrara marble top mixed with beech pine wooden traditional legs, makes it a unique piece that fits different design themes.

The Puzzle Bookcase

Designed as a puzzle, the bookcase shelf is a piece that can fit any interior. The bookcase has two options: walnut wood or beech pine wood with white marble shelves. Some clients change the colour of the shelves depending on their space.

The concept behind the design is to create the daily bookcase but with a modern twist. The shelves of it don't have consistency, giving the illusion of a maze or a puzzle.

The Funky Foldable Tables

The tables were designed with a unique mechanism, as it closes from the centre of the table rather than folding to top as the traditional folding tables.

The table is made from Plexi with printed shapes on the top. Three shapes and three colours were made, allowing clients to mix and match between pattern or colour.

The patterns are taken from the trees outlines that are usually used in urban design plans.
