The top pattern is taken from Hathor's crown.

She is a very ancient goddess, dating to predynastic times. She is one of the oldest known deities in Kemet (ancient Egypt).

Lotus Wall Panels

The Lotus Symbol was used in the Geo tables and the wall panel as it was one of the most important religious Egyptian Symbols in the mythology of ancient Egypt.

The Lotus is used as a symbol in ancient Egyptian art representing the sun, of creation, rebirth and was a symbol of Upper Egypt. It is found in the capitals (tops) of Egyptian pillars, in the tomb Hieroglyphics, papyrus, on thrones, headdresses of the divine pharaohs.

The Lotus Symbol depicted on a hierolglyph taken from the Book of the Dead shown in the image. It was modernised a bit to suit different interior themes, and created by the mother of pearl, wood ebony and brass inlay.

The Temple Cabinet

The design is taken from the Peripteral Temple of Amenophis III at elephantine (18th Dynasty). The image is based on the work of Napoleon’s artists who recorded the chapel around 1800.

The temple borders with the pillars are imitated by wood & mother of pearl inlay on the cabinet door. And the statues in the middle are outlined and imitated as the door handles. While the stairs is replicated to be the cabinet base, sustaining the same outline of the temple.
